A practical workflow for SOAP Client Code Generator

Generate ABAP SOAP client code with XML request handling, headers, authentication and SOAP response parsing.

1. Prepare

Provide ABAP class and method, operation, namespace and SOAPAction. Example: ZCL_BP_SOAP_CLIENT, GET_BUSINESS_PARTNER, GetBusinessPartner, urn:demo:sap:bp and BusinessPartner=1000001234.

2. Review

Inspect the generated SOAP request template, HTTP handling and timeout. Check parameter XML and the exact SOAPAction against the service contract.

3. Apply

This is an ABAP template, not a WSDL-validated SAP proxy. Verify destination, authentication, compilation and release compatibility before executing it.

Verification before operational use
