A practical workflow for BAPI Field Mapper

Identify SAP BAPIs, required structures, mandatory fields, optional fields, default values and upload templates from a functional need.

1. Prepare

Provide process, release, BAPI or object, field structure, sample data and rules. Example: map id and quantity against the explicitly supplied parameter structure.

2. Review

Inspect the AI-proposed parameter, structure and field table, required fields and open questions. Check each proposal against your supplied interface evidence.

3. Apply

The tool does not consult SE37 or SE11. Confirm actual field names, release availability and required values in SAP before using the mapping.

Verification before operational use

Use a representative case with the inputs needed to reproduce it.
Confirm the result in the authorized target environment when runtime versions, namespaces, extensions, permissions or system configuration can change the outcome.
Record the source, assumptions, tool settings and expected result so another reviewer can reproduce the check and distinguish verified facts from recommendations.
