Practical usage guide

A practical workflow for RACI & Delivery Ownership Matrix

Build a local SAP delivery ownership matrix with RACI assignments, accountable-owner checks, phase coverage and CSV or XLSX export.

1. Prepare

Define roles, deliverables and RACI assignments. Example: Deploy with Developer marked R and Lead marked A.

2. Review

Check each deliverable has at least one R and exactly one A. Missing or multiple A assignments generate findings; RA combines both responsibilities.

3. Apply

The matrix checks declared assignments, not actual authority or availability. Agree responsibilities with the named roles before treating the matrix as a delivery commitment.

Verification before operational use

Use a representative case with the inputs needed to reproduce it.
Confirm the result in the authorized target environment when runtime versions, namespaces, extensions, permissions or system configuration can change the outcome.
Record the source, assumptions, tool settings and expected result so another reviewer can reproduce the check and distinguish verified facts from recommendations.
