A practical workflow for cURL Parser

Parse a supported cURL subset locally into method, URL, headers and body, with authentication values redacted and no request execution.

1. Prepare

Paste a supported command, for example curl -X POST https://example.invalid/orders -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"id":1}'.

2. Review

Inspect the extracted method, URL, headers and body. Confirm that supported flags and line continuations were interpreted as intended.

3. Apply

Parsing does not execute the command. Recognized sensitive headers may be masked, but URLs and bodies can still expose data; inspect them before sharing.

Verification before operational use

Use a representative case with the inputs needed to reproduce it.
Confirm the result in the authorized target environment when runtime versions, namespaces, extensions, permissions or system configuration can change the outcome.
Record the source, assumptions, tool settings and expected result so another reviewer can reproduce the check and distinguish verified facts from recommendations.
